Data Organization and Formatting
Organizing Data
Sorting:Arrange data in order (ascending or descending). Select the data range. Go to the Data tab and click on Sort A to Z or Sort Z to A.
Filtering:Show only rows that meet certain criteria. Select the data range. Go to the Data tab and click on Filter.
Formatting Cells
Font and Alignment:Change font type, size, color, and text alignment. Use the Home tab options to format text in cells.
Number Formatting:Apply formats like currency, percentage, or date. Select the cells and choose the desired format from the Home tab.
Cell Borders and Shading:Add borders and shading to highlight important data. Use the Borders and Fill Color options in the Home tab.

Imagine you have a list of employees and their salaries. You can sort by salary, filter to show only employees with high salaries, and format the cells to display salaries in currency format.
